So exciting to see innovative technology that can certainly help visualize and explain project status, interfaces and impacts of change.   MEKS Solutions had the pleasure of catching up with Richard Tester of Red Arrow Group recently in Melbourne.

Red Arrow is a licensed distributor for Synchro PRO software, a world renowned 4D Building Information Management (BIM) tool that synchronises with your schedule.   Synchro PRO provides a visual link between your 3D model and the project schedule. As you scroll through the schedule, it provides a 3D visual of the status at any point in time.  Related up-front changes to your schedule can improve safety, productivity, quality, cost and other aspects of your project before even starting.

 

Another exciting tool in Red Arrow’s tool box is the HoloLens virtual reality glasses. They project 3D holograms that you can walk around, looking in all directions, to view piping, structural steel, cable tray or whatever you choose to model.
